Mr. Rob's Place provides after school care and camps for kids TK through 6th grade. We believe that students need a safe space to play and grow when they are away from home. Students are given options such as:

A healthy afternoon snack is provided and homework support is given as requested by family.

​ABOUT MR. ROB

I established Daddy Day Care SB in 2009, evolving into Mr. Rob's Place in 2019.
I grew up in Goleta until age ten, then moved to Costa Mesa for eight years. Came back to SB at age eighteen and ended up going to Chico for my undergraduate degree. I have loved working with kids most of my life: coaching soccer, lifeguarding, and volunteering many hours at Vieja Valley. Becoming a paramedic in 2003 has benefitted our daycare as it is a comfort knowing how to deal with children in stressful situations (whether it be with illness, injury, or friendship struggles).
I am married and have three children. I love working with my wife, Andrea, who is a teacher at Vieja Valley and really enjoy watching the kids grow and learn social skills at Mr. Rob's Place.
