Policies & Procedures - Summer 2024

Weeks Open:
June 17-Aug 9
Hours:
9am - 4:30 pm
Food:
Snacks in AM/PM provided - bring a sack lunch
Program:
Summer Adventure Program means that we use our home as a base and then take off to explore and have fun each day! We'll hit up beaches along the coast, visit Solvang/Buellton/Carp, check out new parks, hike the hills (as much as our kiddos can do!), and find some hidden spots (like the secret pond at Westmont, Franceschi Park statue, Lizard's Mouth secret cave, etc). When we are home, we plan on having fun at the house (organized games/slip-n-slide/water balloons, cooking, etc!), trips down to the playground at school as well as lots of self-directed play in the backyard. We also plan to do "academic refreshers" for kids the few weeks before school starts - just to get them reading/writing and doing some math again as they head back into school.

Cost:
When signing up, a policy letter of intent is required per child. Please DO NOT sign your child up unless you are certain they will be attending. You will be required to pay even if your child cannot or does not attend the weeks you've committed to. We are just too small of a group to be able to drop kids last minute. Thanks!

Incoming K -6th graders
$275/week
$250/week if 4 or more weeks are scheduled!
Tuition is due prior to care given – Each Monday is preferred, unless other arrangements have been made.
Children are to be picked up by 4:30pm. If your child is picked up late, there will a $10 fee charge for every 10 minutes late. Please call if there is any emergency. *Absenteeism If your child is ill, it is assumed that he/she will not be attending Summer Adventure Program. Illness includes, but is not limited to: fevers, diarrhea, and vomiting, bad colds/coughs. We ask that children that have had a fever stay out of summer camp until he/she has been fever-free for 24 hours. Please call before 10 a.m. if your child will not be at summer camp because of illness or other reason. There is no reduction in tuition fees for absences. Your child’s place is reserved for him/her.

We are closed July 8-12, 2024.
